We begin our tour at 9am by cycling to the local markets –fresh local produce and handicrafts. We then cycle to the Hmong village to visit the local native people and observe their customs, craft skills and culture.
Then we will continue to the limestone caves where you can swim in the refreshing cool and clear waters. Explore the cave on tubes with a torch for the adventurous.
After this, a barbecue lunch and fresh fruits is served on the banks of the river, with a majestic mountain backdrop and tropical forests. Our next stop is the Elephant Cave ,with its unusual shaped stones and many different sizes of Buddha statues that date back to many centuries ago.
After your English speaking guide has given you some basic safety instructions, we will kayak down the river through the winding rapids - only small and great fun for young and old - until we reach the river bars and enjoy a cool drink – OR play on the rope swings – splashing into the river from a great height (fantastic fun). There is also a water slide for the less adventurous. We then continue on down the river until we reach the town.
