Tour Highlight
The kayaking tour starts in the morning at 9am with transfer by car to the Nam Ou River, approximately 40km from Luang Prabang. You'll start the kayaking tour here, which takes 2 hours on the Nam Ou River. You'll then arrive at the Pak Ou Caves and you will see where the Mekong and the Ou river meet. It is a beautiful view. In the caves, you have the chance of exploring thousands of Buddha statutes. The kayaking tour ends at the caves and we'll cross the river to have lunch at the elephant camp. After lunch, we'll take a minivan to the Kuang Xi Waterfalls where you can swim, do some tree jumping and so on. We'll go trekking up to the top of waterfall with a nice view over green rice fields. Before going back to Luang Prabang, we'll also see some bears in a sanctuary. Elephant riding might be possible on this day.
