First, we will visit the Elephant Cave, 15 km north of Vang Vieng. The cave lies on the banks of the Nam Song River. It's a very important Buddhist Temple and owes its name to a remarkable limestone formation.
We will trek a small farming village to Tham Hoi Cave. This cave is very special as it goes 4km under the mountain. Near there is another big and beautiful cave called Loup Cave. This one has remarkable limestone formations that make musical sounds when you tap on them. It is now time to swim in the clear blue and cool spring water at the mouth of the Water Cave. Then we will tube inside the cave itself up to 500m!
Finally, we will walk past the jungle to a Hmong Village to see traditional life outside of town and we will take our transport to return back to Vang Vieng.
