The Luang Prabang Film Festival (LPFF) is a non-profit event held every year in December. It is committed to celebrating Southeast Asian film and to grow the local and regional film industries. It aims to showcase the richly diverse culture in Southeast Asia to the rest of the world.
During the event, Luang Prabang will be transformed into a theatre where screens are rigged on garden lawns, within the walls of five-star hotels, at a central market. What's more, all screenings are free for all. Each screenings are able to hold more than over 1,500 people.
