The 100 Waterfalls Trek was first popularised in 2009, when travellers realised the 10km one-day trek brought them to one waterfall after another. To get to the trail, you will need to take an hour-long boat ride down Nam Ou River and trek for another hour, before you start wading through shallow pools beside the cascades. It is not physically demanding, but you should be a confident and willing hiker - there will be parts of the trail where you get wet and muddy.
