The first major plan will be opened on January 1, 2022 by opening a green tourism area in Vientiane Capital, Vang Vieng, Vientiane Province. and Luang Prabang. The Green Travel Trail is a designated accommodation or attraction for: Udomxay, Xayabuli, Xiengkhouang, Khammuan and Champasak; The checkpoints will open at 2 points, namely Wattay International Airport. and the 1st Friendship Bridge (Vientiane - Nong Khai)
# The second priority plan will open on April 1, 2022, which will open up green tourism areas in 9 provinces: Vientiane Capital, Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Udomxay, Xayaburi, Xieng Khouang, Khammuan, Savannakhet and Champasak; Open the Green travel Trail, designated places or attractions, including Huai Sai (Bo Keo Sub-District), Luang Nam Tha District (Luang Nam Tha), Sekong and Sorawan, 9 open checkpoints, including Wat Tai International Airport Luang Prabang Airport, Boten (Laos-China), Friendship Bridge (Vientiane-Nong Khai), Friendship Bridge (Takhek-PhanomPenh), Friendship Bridge (Savannakhet-Mukdahan), Laos-Vietnam Border and ethnic (Laos-Vietnam)

As for conditions for tourists to enter Laos PDR, they must go through a tour company. Vaccination against COVID-19 for more than 14 days with a negative RC PCR test result no later than 72 hours before arriving in Laos. In addition, there are conditions for tourists to enter Laos. And tourists need to download the Lao Stay Safe app, have a minimum insurance of $50,000 and check the RC PCR at the airport and wait for the test results 24 hours. .
