For the morning class option, begin your program by visit to the local morning market, where you’ll join the ladies to select seasonal vegetables and ingredients while learning about Lao culinary staples and local produce. On the way back, stop by the house garden to hand-pick fresh herbs and vegetables before starting the cooking session. the women’s group will guide you through preparing three traditional Lao dishes, tailored to what’s in season and available that day. You’ll also learn to make one classic Lao dessert, using simple, authentic techniques passed down through generations. Once your meal is ready, gather to enjoy the delicious dishes you’ve prepared together—a true farm-to-table experience rooted in Lao hospitality.

After Lunch relaxing at the house or shopping tour in Sa Paper village for 1 hour and continue your candle class making in the afternoon.

Set in a serene and inspiring space in Luang Prabang, this hands-on workshop offers you the chance to explore and blend a variety of exotic natural scents, guiding you to create your very own personalized candle. You’ll learn the full process of candle making, from mixing fragrances to mastering the pouring technique within a beautifully crafted locally made pottery vessel.
