Hillside offers, and that's unique in South East Asia, a variety of self-guided treks. On the day of arrival we will hand over a hiking map, which allows you easily to explore ethnic villages, waterfalls, rice paddies, viewpoints and traditional farmlands.
Or you may prefer relax by the pool, read a book, savour our own organically grown food and pamper yourself with a steam bath and a massage while indulging in nature's beauty with astonishing views on forested mountain ranges.
THE BUNGALOWS AT THE HILLSIDE LODGE
We have dedicated ourselves to a nature-like lifestyle and did not include minibars or televisions in the rooms. Also, air conditioning is not needed due to our higher altitude, even in the hotter season. A breeze with open windows and ceiling fans in each room ensure a good night's sleep, and balances our ecological footprint.
The Hillside Lodge consists of 9 charming bungalows spread out on a small hill, with views over the lush tropical garden and the mountains. All rooms are built with locally grown wood and come with bamboo ceilings and polished wooden floors, and are just a few steps away from the swimming pool. Free 3G- Wifi is in the restaurant/reception area available, sufficient enough for mailing, social media or planning your next steps
