At Mandala Ou, your comfort is important to us. Whether its after an adventurous day of trekking, or a long day on the boat, we aim to make your stay with us as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
Mandala Ou offers 10 deluxe detached units - six 'River Bungalows' with direct Nam Ou River views and four 'Fountain Garden Bungalows' set in our tropical garden. Eight of our bungalows are 'Doubles' with king sized beds, and two are 'Twins' with two single sized beds.
Situated high on the banks of the Nam Ou river, opposite the incredible Pha Xang cliffs plunging into the river, Mandala Ou Resort offers you the choice of 10 deluxe detached bungalows incorporating your modern comfort needs with a quality, traditional Lao design. Each bungalow offers king sized bedding, a large modern bathroom ,a private balcony, all modern amenities and free WiFi connectivity throughout. Our guests are welcome to enjoy the infinity edge pool and teak decking overlooking the river, jungle and mountains, a Lao herbal steam sauna, relaxed raised seating around our reflective fountain pool, and a unique Yoga and Massage platform overlooking the river with sunset view. We are pleased to provide you with our internationally qualified Yoga instructor for individual lessons or group sessions. For all your culinary desires, our modern kitchen serves authentic pan-Lao specialities in addition to classic Thai and Western cuisine - enjoy your meals in your own time with splendid views of the surrounding mountains and the local river life...and soak up the ambiance with a sundowner at our poolside cocktail bar.
We aim to be ecologically focused - hot water is supplied both by solar-heated vacuum tubes and the national grid, river water is used to flush our toilets, and shower and sink waste water is recycled to water our garden. All our organic kitchen waste is composted, fresh drinking water is available to refill your complimentary water bottles day and night.
