The building was refurbished in 2002 by Mrs. Lamphoune Voravongsa and has been run since as a hotel. During 2008 the hotel has been enlarged with the addition of six more colonial style buildings consisting of 14 Deluxe Rooms, 14 Junior suites and 3 Satri House suites.
Satri House is one of the most exquisite places in this ancient city, designed with a style inspired by Lao culture and set in a truly relaxing environment. Here you can enjoy private moments to yourself and really unwind or sit and watch the everyday life of local people from your balcony.
The 28 Rooms and 3 Suites are furnished with superior crafted wood furniture, oversized balconies, spacious bath rooms with rain shower and separate toilet room, and bath tubs in the Suites. Facilities include a restaurant, garden bar, library, outdoor swimming pools and spa. In Room Facilities: personal safe, WIFI internet, hair dryer, individual air conditioning and ceiling fan with flat screen TV available on request.
Deluxe Room (14 Rooms): All our Deluxe Rooms are very tastily decorated with a lot of antiques arts and objects from Indochina. They are all equipped with air conditioning, fan, mini-bar, safe, telephone, free wireless connection. Most rooms have a private balcony or patio.
Junior Suite (14 rooms): In the Junior Suite Room, in addition of the refined decoration, you have the advantage of getting more space and a large bathroom with a bath and separate walk in shower.
Satri House Suite (3 rooms): In our Satri Suite, you have the privilege to sleep in the residence of the last Prince of Laos, classified as a UNESCO Heritage, Its location, right in front of the main swimming pool, will offer you some very unique and delightful moments to spend in our historical building.
