2 Days Luang Prabang To NongKhiaw

Join us on an exciting adventure starting at 8:00 am from your hotel in Luang Prabang. We'll embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to Nong Khiaw, where our journey truly begins. From there, we'll hop on a boat and cruise up the river for approximately 1 hour until we reach Ban Sop Kong.

Once we arrive, we'll embark on a 1-hour walk to a magnificent waterfall. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to witness the local way of life, passing by rice farms, cow farms, pig farms, and chicken farms. Immerse yourself in the rural charm of the area as you soak in the sights and sounds of the countryside.

Upon reaching the waterfall, you'll be greeted by its refreshing allure, inviting you to take a dip and cool off from the day's adventures. Feel free to swim and relax in the crystal-clear waters. Afterward, a delicious lunch of traditional Lao food will be served, allowing you to savor the flavors of the region.

Following lunch, we'll make our way back to the boat. If you're up for more adventure, you can choose to kayak downstream, enjoying the thrill of navigating the river's gentle currents. Alternatively, you can simply relax in the boat and soak in the picturesque views as we return to Nong Khiaw.

Our trip will come to an end around 4-5 pm. The next day, we'll wake up bright and early at 6:00 am to embark on a hike up the famous Phadaeng View Point. This mountain offers the most popular panoramic view in town, allowing you to witness the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding landscapes.

After enjoying the stunning vista, we'll make our way back down to the hotel. You'll have some time to freshen up before checking out. A comfortable minivan will be waiting to transport you back to Luang Prabang, concluding our memorable journey.
