Learn to make handicrafts from an ethnic artisan! TAEC offers half-day workshops where groups of 2 – 12 people can learn how to do Hmong embroidery, and take home their special creations. The workshops are taught by local Hmong artists, with a TAEC guide to translate and provide background on the craft and people. These half-day activities also include a 30-minute exhibition tour as well as an ethnic food lunch in TAEC Café.
The Hmong Embroidery workshop is a creative and educational experience that introduces participants to the traditional art of Hmong embroidery. Led by skilled Hmong artisans, the workshop provides a hands-on opportunity to learn about the rich cultural heritage and intricate techniques behind this unique form of needlework.
