• International cross-border passengers will need to go through immigration procedures at Nong Khai and Khamsavath stations, which are expected to take less than 40 minutes at each location.

• Please note that Lao e-visas cannot yet be used on arrival at Khamsavath station. However, you can apply for a visa on arrival, just as you would when entering Laos via the Friendship Bridge.
