International cross-border passengers will need to go through immigration procedures at Nong Khai and Khamsavath stations, which are expected to take less than 40 minutes at each location.

Please note that Lao e-visas cannot yet be used on arrival at Khamsavath station. However, you can apply for a visa on arrival, just as you would when entering Laos via the Friendship Bridge.
